It’s been a while since i posted on my website and with everything I’ve been up to it feels like I spend my life in a spin.
So things to know. I attended Shimmer an M/M book signing event in Feb and it as brilliant and the others and readers were super friendly, (I gave out lots of hugs). I have a few events no planned for this year. The first is Book Babes in Stoke, which is May 4th (Saturday) and I’m really excited about that. Then I’ll be in Dublin for Dublin or Bust on the 19th of October. So if you like hugs, free swag and talking books then I’m your gal.
In terms of books I have just released book 6 in the Manx Cat Guardian Series, and i have started the 7th book. However, this book is slightly different for me as its a daddy kink. And because of that, one of the side characters started chatting and it seems he wants his own book, so i started another book. Yep, I’m trying to write two at once, I’ve never done this before so we’ll see how it goes. The non Manx Cat book, well that is also a daddy kink and it seems wants to be a series also. The first book is called Puzzle Pieces and when I hit 50k words I will do the cover reveal!!

When I started writing, I had no clue where it would lead or that I’d be any good at it. The usual stuff I suppose when you decide you want to do something totally out of your comfort zone. Yeah, that’s putting it mildly. I’m laughing at myself, this is a real understatement. But you don’t want to hear about my freakouts, the words that made no sense or the number of failed attempts I had to start a book.
Anyway, I digress. What I did want to talk about was your intuition. This may sound daft but I’ve learned to listen to myself. Your inner self will never lead you astray if you stop and really listen to what your intuition is trying to tell you. This leads to the above book Where it all Began. This book was never gonna be written until I had a dream, next thing I knew I was contacting my lovely cover designer begging for another cover (you have to understand I was right in the midst of writing Searching for a Soul to Love, which I had just days before received the cover for) and bam, I needed to write this one to explain everything about my cats and the history of the Viking in Searching for a Soul to Love.
I listened to what my intuition was telling me, and this book came about in less than four weeks and for me was a real eye opener writing in another century and using local history. This then became book 1 because you need this to truly get the cats.
If you decide this is something you would like to read please let me know what you think 🙂
Seeing Beyond the Scars: Manx Cat Guardians, was where my journey began and though this book over a year to get to publication, for me this story holds a little of my heart and will always be my first and nothing can ever beat that. I hope you’ll consider joining me on this new journey and becoming a part of my new book family.
Living in a quiet, controlled world, Brad Cummings does everything he can to not dwell on his traumatic past. Staying hidden, unaware that fate is about to turn his life upside down. A new neighbour has Brad questioning everything about his life and his feelings. Coming to terms with his new life, Brad has no idea something sinister lurks, watching and waiting to steal his happiness and drag him back into the horrors of his past.
Martin Clegg was dissatisfied with his life. He finds himself drawn to a small island off the Irish Sea, but the draw to the mysterious house across the way is even stronger. A new business, a new house, a new neighbour who just may be the reason for the pull Martin felt. Everything about Brad calls to Martin, but Brad’s past seems to stand between them. Can Martin protect his heart when he’s also worried about protecting Brad from the evil that surrounds them?
Guardian cats walk this earth, there to protect—if you are fortunate enough to be blessed by the fates. Princess is one such cat. As far as Brad knows, she is his quirky, little, cheeky, black cat.
Princess is sworn to hide her secret about her real nature. But when Brad finds himself in danger, Princess breaks all the rules that govern her.
Will there be consequences for her actions? Only time will tell.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
